Masters Program / Student Work

Student Work

Individual and collective projects by students in the MA Program in Human Rights & the Arts

Over the course of our two year program, students produce a diversity of work in a variety of media, including scholarly papers, curatorial programs, interactive performances, social practice, and web-based projects. During their first year, students often organize a micro-festival as a way to workshop new ideas and present works in progress, many of which inform their thesis work. In their second year, students work closely with advisors, in and beyond CHRA and Bard, to complete a thesis project, with funding and production support from the program.
