About the Workshop

In fall 2022, members of the OSUN Network came together to read and discuss some of the most provocative and fruitful texts related to the intersection of human rights and the arts. Participants broke into small groups to discuss essential questions at this intersection, and finished the workshop with two three-hour discussion seminars highlighting key points.

In addition to amassing an extensive bibliography that could supplement individual research and teaching endeavors, the workshop acted as a space in which members could cultivate collaborative relationships, develop new pedagogical practices, and think through the urgent issues that arise from this field of study.
