Tejiendo el KanastoKosmico

La Chorrea, Amazon and Bogotá
Tejiendo el KanastoKosmico (“weaving the cosmic basket”) is a two part project commissioned to members of the collective Canasto de Abundancia. Firstly, the songs they sing to their polyculture system called chagra, will be recorded in a Maloka and turned into a sound library archive. Aimema Uai will also create a large-scale painting on Yanchama tree (J+jinx) that depicts the cosmovision of his culture as it connects to nature, rivers and this  territory using pigments of tabaco (ambil), coca (mambe) and other natural elements found on the territory.
